You can play HigherLowerHub without signing up or providing your name. Most gameplay happens in your browser. Some information is still processed when a website loads, when analytics runs, or when you choose to email us. Here's how those activities work.
1. About This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to higherlowerhub.com, including the Classic, NBA Higher or Lower and Movie Higher or Lower games, as well as our information pages. It explains the kinds of information involved in using the site, why they are used, and how to contact us with questions. We will update this policy if the way we handle information changes.
For privacy questions, contact support@higherlowerhub.com. This address is also used for requests about information you have shared with us by email.
2. Information You Do Not Need to Provide
You don't need an account, password, real name or payment details to play. Your game score isn't tied to a personal profile. To get in touch, you can email us directly; selecting an email link opens your email application.
You can choose whether to send an email, share a result using your device's sharing features, or follow links to external sources. Those actions are separate from ordinary gameplay.
3. Best Scores Stored in Your Browser
HigherLowerHub uses your browser's local storage to remember your highest streak in each game. Classic, NBA and Movie have separate saved scores. This lets you return on the same browser without creating an account.
Local storage is a browser feature on your device, not an online account. It may be cleared through your browser's site-data controls or if you use private browsing. The game will still work if your browser blocks storage, but it might not remember your previous best score.
Want to clear your saved game scores?
Use your browser settings to clear site data for higherlowerhub.com. That may also remove other preferences or cookies saved by this site. There is no cross-device synchronization of local best scores.
4. Website Access and Hosting
When you visit any website, your browser sends technical requests so the site can load. Our hosting and network providers, including Cloudflare where the site is deployed, may process technical details such as your IP address, browser information, approximate location derived from network data, request time, requested URL and security-related signals for delivery, performance and abuse prevention.
Website access records are separate from your saved game scores. How long network records are kept depends on the hosting provider and the settings used to protect and operate the site.
5. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how people find and use the games. There is no separate cookie or consent banner on this site. Google Analytics records page visits and interactions such as starting a game, choosing Higher or Lower, finishing a run or sharing a result.
Analytics-related information may include page visits, device or browser details, approximate geographic information, and interaction-event details such as which game was played, the chosen answer and the streak total. These events describe how the games are used; they are not used to create a user account. We do not send form text, emails, chat content or other free-form user writing to Analytics.
Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies, including _ga, to distinguish browsers and measure activity. Google can process information under its own terms and privacy policies. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy and Google's cookie information.
You can use your browser settings to limit or clear cookies and site data for higherlowerhub.com.
6. Emails You Send Us
If you email support@higherlowerhub.com, we receive the email address you send from and any information you choose to include in your message, such as your question, a screenshot or a link to an incorrect statistic. We use that information to read and respond to your request, investigate a reported issue and follow up when necessary.
Email providers process messages as part of delivering and storing correspondence. Please do not send passwords, payment card details, government identifiers or other sensitive information in a support message. If you want us to review or remove a support email, contact us at the same address and identify the message involved.
7. Sharing and External Links
The games offer a sharing option after a run. If you select it, your device may open its native sharing menu or copy text to your clipboard. You decide whether to send that text and which service to use. We do not operate the third-party apps you choose for sharing.
Some links take you to external websites, such as Wikidata or other source pages used to explain game statistics. When you open one of these links, that website may collect information under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review the policies of sites you visit outside HigherLowerHub.
8. How Information May Be Used
Information involved in using HigherLowerHub may be used to deliver website pages, maintain security, troubleshoot problems, understand traffic and gameplay through analytics, and respond to messages you voluntarily send. We do not currently offer user accounts or a service for uploading personal profiles, and the browser-saved streak does not require you to disclose your identity.
If we introduce advertising or other services that change how personal information is processed, we will update this policy to explain those changes.
9. Security, Retention and Your Choices
Website providers and email services use technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security. Local best scores remain available on your device until your browser clears them. Email correspondence and technical or analytics records may be retained according to their purpose and the providers' settings; a single fixed retention period does not apply to all of those categories.
Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can contact us about such requests at support@higherlowerhub.com. We may need enough information to locate the relevant correspondence and verify the request. For browser-stored scores, use your own browser's site-data controls.
10. Children and Policy Changes
HigherLowerHub is a general-interest guessing game, not a service designed to collect information from children. We do not provide child accounts or ask for a child's personal details to play. If you believe a child has sent us personal information by email, contact us so we can review the situation.
We may revise this policy if the website, its service providers or applicable requirements change. The updated text and the date shown above will appear on this page. Questions or concerns can be sent to support@higherlowerhub.com.
